Platelet-rich Plasma - PRP
Procedure that can heal tissue, erase wrinkles, and boost hair growth
PRP is a solution made from your own blood that has a highly concentrated number of platelets.
Your blood is made of liquid plasma, red and white blood cells, and platelets. Platelets clot blood, but they’re also filled with growth proteins that can be used to speed healing and encourage growth throughout your body.
If you undergo PRP therapy, taking a small sample of your blood before the procedure. Then run the blood in a centrifuge to separate the elements of your blood, collecting the platelets and preparing them to be injected back into your body. The high number of platelets in the injected plasma are activated, releasing growth factors into the area of application.
PRP Fights Facial Wrinkles
Turn back the hands of time
PRP facial rejuvenation is a popular anti-aging treatment. PRP therapy can take the form of facial injections or be added on to your microneedling procedure. Because PRP contains hundreds of growth factors, it encourages collagen production below the surface of your skin. When injected, PRP helps fill in lines and wrinkles around the eyes, nose, and mouth. The results are tighter, plumper skin and filled facial lines.
PRP Works for Hair Loss
Stimulates hair growth
PRP therapy can also be used to stimulate hair growth. If you suffer from hair loss, PRP injected into your scalp can infuse your cells with growth factors that stimulate new hair follicles. The highly concentrated platelets work to boost hair follicles and grow your hair.
For hair loss treatment, starting with three PRP sessions spread out over a number of weeks.
After a few PRP treatments, many patients notice their hair is growing thicker and fuller.
